You guys have probably seen glimpses of my newly redecorated loft office space if you follow me on instagram. It has been a slow but steady process to turn this space into a place where I love to spend my time creating but I think it is safe to say that aside from some straightening up of the area behind the camera, I’m pretty much done. Ever since the first time I walked into our house I dreamed of having my home office here and well, 3 years later, here we finally are.
It all started with a can of chalk paint and an old hand-me-down desk from my parents. Once I finally got the desk painted & waxed, the rest started to fall into place! From my gifted Paris prints from minted, to my ever changing vision board and products within reach, every little thing is intentional. I obviously had to have a hanging rack for when I film try-on videos && the final piece to the puzzle was the new white desk chair that arrived last week from Amazon.

I think it is so important to create a work space for yourself where you look forward to spending time. I go into an office for my day job and used to just plop down on the couch when I got home and scroll thru instagram & play Candy Crush. But now, I actually want to come upstairs and work on the blog, plan out content and upcoming events (even if my second screen is still on Netflix hehe). Same can be said about weekend mornings. I am much more likely now to get up early and get to work than I was when the “office” was my couch.
My space may not be perfect, I do have mismatched hangers and there are chords everywhere, and it definitely isn’t the office of my dreams. That, of course would be complete with a massive walk-in closet and unlimited diptyque candles. However, I did what I could with what I had & I gotta say, it ain’t too shabby. I also didn’t have to break the bank to do it! Amazon has truly been my best friend over the past few months.
I love that you’re a Diptyque addict too! I can’t get enough of their fragrances and candles!
Omg I’m in love with this office! I love the brick detailing and the ship-lap combo on the walls. So rustic! This lamp is also so dang cute, I seriously want this space!
I agree – if you’re not inspired by your space, you’re not going to enjoy working there and will not be motivated to work. I would love a space similar to this!
