Ski Trip Prep : Winter Sweaters

OKAY, I might be jumping the gun here, but we just booked our ski trip for next January & I’m excited.
{We also just did a round up of chunky knits over on The Crystal Press}ski sweaters

This was one of my absolute favorite purchases last winter, from TopShop, and it is the perfectly quintessential ski bunny piece, dontcha think? If you are feeling some sort of deja vu with this post, you aren’t imagining things.  I did a full post on this sweater when we got back from our trip to Steamboat last year, but I love it so much & the topic is going to be relevant every year, so I figured I would give an updated version. Ok? OK.

I may not always love the winter temperatures, but to me if you are going skiing, or embracing the snowy weather you gotta go all out! From the chunky, sweaters to the silly hats & puffy coats. You gotta dress the part, even if you aren’t actually going to hit the slopes. If I am going to have to endure the freezing temps, I would much rather do it in a way that is truly “wintery.” AKA packing up and heading to Colorado.  I would rather sit inside in a ski lodge or outside in a hot tub, but be in the snowy mountains, than at home battling the cold weather! ANYWHO, can you tell I’m excited to get back to Steamboat?

SO, it might not even be November yet, but if you live somewhere that gets particularly wintery every winter or have a ski trip planned and want to update your winter pieces, here are some picks for sweaters & hats 🙂 Stay tuned for my new favorite winter puffy coat!
