Four Hair Accessories To Try This Spring

2020 just keeps getting more………. interesting!?

We are all still in quarantine, 6 weeks later and as such I have been trying to come up with ways to make everyday life more interesting. Whether it is experimenting with my photos, doing some at-home tie-dying or trying a new recipe, I have been trying to keep things interesting around here! One way that I have been playing with my daily looks is by adding hair accessories! In the same vain as doing your make-up everyday, or simply getting dressed, doing your hair has the same effect! It helps to change things up a bit, even if it means just throwing on a head band.

I am admittedly lazy when it comes to doing my hair.  I always air dry and RARELY use any heat products.  I gave up on trying to conquer loose waves a while ago, and instead have embraced my straight, simple hair.  So, for me, hair accessories are a fun way to feel a little fancy, a little boho or a little funky.  ALSO,  a headband, scarf or throwing your hair up with a scrunchie will give you an extra day to hide that *just a little greasy* hair.

SO! Here are a few options if you want to get a little creative with your daily hair styling and add some new hair accessories to your shopping list.

~ Headband ~

A classic! Might initially make you feel like you are a child again, but headbands are making a come back and there are a range of options out there.  I have been wearing this *love* headband on repeat!

~  Scarf ~

I recently snagged this Dior scarf secondhand on Mercari and I love it. It gives me vintage meets boho vibes.  A handkerchief or any regular scarf would have the same effect.

~ Over-sized Pearl Clips ~

I got these over-sized pearl clips last year when they were all the rage and have found myself pulling them out more and more lately! They make a statement and can be used for a feminine or dramatic touch.

~ Scrunchies ~

I can’t remember the last time I used a regular hair tie. I have been all in on scrunchies for years now and have no intention of changing my ways anytime soon! I love that they don’t make a crease in your hair and still make a bit of a statement when you use ’em to put your hair in a bun!! There are so many great color and print options at seriously affordable prices.

Have I convinced you to expand your collection of hair accessories yet!? Let me know your favorite option in the comments!

I’m all about headbands. Scarf and scrunchies are also favorites but mostly wear them around the house. 🙂 I need a few hair clips because those are so pretty.
