When I was trying to decide what to wear for our 5 year anniversary shoot, I was perousing Rent The Runway for some dreamy, flowing options. I saw this Reformation Wrap Dress and knew it would be PERFECT. When I did the try on on IGTV and asked you guys which dress you liked, so many of you picked this one! I ended up wearing 3 of the dresses from the shipment, but the shots with this dress were probably my favorite.
A wrap dress is a classic, and naturally make me think of Diane von Furstenberg. I have worn a few old DVF dresses in my Designer Closet Revival series on instagram and was reminded how much I love this style! It is flattering on almost any body type, whether you prefer a long dress or a shorter wrap. While we can’t all afford a closet full of DVF, there are some other great wrap dresses available.
I highly recommend Rent the Runway if you are looking for a dress for a special occasion – even if that occasion is just dinner in your back yard! RTR gives you a few different subscription options, and allows you to rotate your wardrobe without investing hundreds in new pieces! Right now you can use my code REBECCAPERK40 for ~$95 off your first two months of the two swap program and I can’t recommend this program highly enough. We are lucky enough to get away to the beach next week and I’m looking forward to swapping out my pieces for beachy maxi dresses for the week.
