My Summer 2021 Essentials

SUMMER IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!!!

Some days it feels like summer is here in RVA, and then it gets chilly again, but we are used to that around these parts.  We got a taste of summer on our trip to Key West, which prompted me to get a head start on this post for you guys so you are ready with summer truly rolls into town.

ASOS Crinkle Bathing Suits — These are my favorite affordable bathing suits! And my favorite aside from my splurge on Montce suits. Not only are they flattering, but $20 or less, and super durable, especially considering the price. I have the bandeau in a few colors and the black basic top and they have been my tried and true go-tos for three summers now!

Claw Clips — I am SO glad these are making a comeback. They make putting my hair up SO much easier, don’t leave a crease and plus give you allllllll the 90s vibes. I’ve been wearing mine every day since I bought mine, no exaggeration.  I bought this fun 3-piece set from Anthro, but you can of course find them on Amazon too.

BrüMate — I am a psycho when it comes to needing my drinks cold. I can’t drink beer, claws, white or rose if they aren’t absolutely cold. SO, BrüMate is my best friend. They are dedicated to keeping allll your bevvies cold. From can coolers to water bottles to cocktails and everything in between. The Hopsulator Slim is perfect for your favorite seltzer skinny cans at the beach, the pool, your backyard etc.  We also have and love the Winesulator, which holds a full bottle of wine and the tumblers to take wine on the go. Rebecca Minkoff Backpack — John got me my Rebecca Minkoff backpack probably 5 years ago for Christmas, and it is one of my favorite pieces for traveling! It was especially crucial in Key West with all of the bike riding and walking around. To be honest, it had been a while since I used it and I had forgotten how much I loved it, but have been carrying it as my daily bag ever since. I love that it is *nice* but also *adventure ready.*  Comes in at under $200, and well worth the price as mine has lasted me 5 years with no signs of wear.

Tula Sunscreen — You guys already know that I LOVE Tula. It completely changed my skin a year ago and to this day, I have yet to use a product that I didn’t love. I have been itching to get my hands on their sunscreen and when it landed on my doorstep the other day I was just delighted. I am all about wearing SPF everyday during the summer and I love the way this one feels. It isn’t greasy and fits into my morning skincare routine seamlessly.

White Button Down — A white button down is perfect for any seasons, but we find them particularly versatile during the summer. They make for a great coverup at the beach or a top layer on chilly evenings.  H&M always has great affordable options, and J.ING makes my favorite one if you are will to spend a little more.  In my opinion you can never have too many of this closet staple.

gorjana jewels — In case you are new around here, I am obsessed with gorjana. On any given day I am wearing two gorjana necklaces and one if not two pairs of earrings.  They are the perfect accessory for summer to add a little sparkle to your vibe.  check out this reels I made mixing and matching my layered necklaces.
